  the jehovah's witnesses believe jesus is an angel.

  they also apparently believe that angels have wings.

  jesus was a spirit being before he was born, we're told, and he was resurrected as a spirit (even though jesus insisted he wasn't a spirit), then does he still have his [ring bell] wings?

  Pedos - Hardwired?

  from the various readings about the subject, it occured to me that pedophilia could very well be hardwired, as are homosexuality and heterosexuality.

  that's not to say that it can be legitimized, like the other 2 sexualities.

  it does mean though, that a different approach needs to be taken as soon as pedo proclivity shows itself.

  pedophilia is well defined and it's NOT about having sex with persons of age 14+, no matter if it's legal or illegal in a certain country. it's a sexual interest in prepubescent children. a 16 year old can be a pedophile. but you're not a pedophile for having a sexual interest in a 16 year old, you may be a pig or an asshole or a sick dirty bastard, but not a pedo.

  raven, what you are talking about isn't porn but snuff, which is at the same level as child porn and i honestly doubt women appear to be "willing" in those. readily available porn has nothing to do with kidnappings or the like. not saying that everything's flowers and sausages in porn land. on a second thought, yes it usually is.

  five bullets almost weren't enough to save herself and her two children.

  this whole story doesn't sound like anyones but the intruders life was in danger. if he'd noticed someone's at home he most probably wouldn't even have tried to enter. while i do think the shooting is justified, a "unprepared" gun owner, or even a knife owner, would have warned the intruder before taking action. all this preparation seems to develop some trigger happy reflexes.

  i wonder what the kids who saw this think about it.
